At The Mount, we are very proud to work with our team of passionate, professional people, who strive to be the best at what they do. Starting with just 3 members, we have developed a great team who specialise in areas such as long hair, weddings and colour corrections, and who take the time to listen to your likes, dislikes and needs. Many of them are home-grown, having trained at The Mount.

Alison

Salon Owner / Salon Director

Alison understands that choosing the right salon is a hard decision and will do her utmost to listen, make time and ask the right questions to make your visit enjoyable. Away from The Mount, she is also a Creative Director for MoroccanOil.

Carly

Salon Owner / Reception Manager

Carly may not be a hairdresser, but she loves salon life and working with the creative team at The Mount. She has a passion for customer service and welcomes any feedback about your salon experience.

Kellie

Level 8

Senior Creative Director

Kellie is a Paul Mitchell Colour Master who specialises in colour changes and new techniques. She has been at The Mount since our opening and is highly experienced in all areas as well as being a senior member of our wedding team.

Eleanor

Creative Director

Eleanor strives to always offer a professional service to help you solve your hair problems, and to offer take-home advice to help you maintain your new style. As an in-house trainer Eleanor applies her meticulous eye to helping develop our future professionals.

Lauren

Level 6

Salon Consultant

Lauren is an experienced, calming stylist who always has an eye on the latest trends and will interpret how to make these work for you.

Alice

Salon Consultant

Alice takes the time to really listen to her clients and to find solutions to their hair problems. She is a natural at hair-up styling and loves creating styles for special occasions, weddings and proms.

Jodie

Level 5

Senior Designer

Experienced Jodie aims to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed, and people often comment on the happy salon atmosphere she creates.

Lace

Level 4

Designer

Lace was nominated for Somerset’s top apprentice and never stops aiming for the best results. She loves specialist colour treatments such as balayage. Lace is on maternity leave from November 2023.

Sophie

Level 3

Senior Stylist

Sophie will do her utmost to ensure you are happy with your hair, and that you have everything you need to have a great salon experience.

Jess

Level 3

Senior Stylist

All-rounder Jess is equally at home with both cutting and colouring services. She is friendly and communicates well with all ages. She also helps to curate our social media pages. 

Elinor

Future Professional

Elinor has always wanted to work with hair and is enjoying learning new skills which she can put into practice as a member of Wellington Majorettes.

Freya M

Future Professional

Freya has joined us straight from school and is training both in salon and with Exeter College. She is especially excited to start learning colouring techniques.
